Ok...what's the advantage of V2 tanks?

The most important benefit of the V2 design over other Canon refillable tanks is the fill hole placement. Most traditional refillable tanks feature fill holes on top, while V2 tank holes are located on the bottom of tanks.
Why?

1) Safer - plugs are not exposed to adjacent printer parts while printing - can't fall out.
2) Easier - Because the tanks are supplied full of ink, it's far easier to refill them.
3) No priming - For the same reason there should be no need to prime the tanks.
3) More reliable - V2 air holes are sealed during filling to minimize risk of overfilling.

Ink options:

Refillable 680/681 ink tanks can be ordered with or without (extra) ink in different bottle sizes. If you prefer some other ink combination or need more information - contact us.

About ink chips:

Refilling 680/681 refillable ink tanks will not reset the printer ink levels, so the ink monitor  must be disabled -  when any tank indicates empty and the printer stops working with 'ink out' error.  Find instructions to disable the ink monitor here.
